NYFW Diary: Part One

Front Row at Grey Line Map

                                    Grey Line Map SS14

                                       Mathieu Mirano SS14

The mood this NYFW was quite different from those in the past that I've attended it was much more relaxed, yet still excited for what the Spring Shows will present to us. The first show I attended was Grey Line Map, Its a newer designer. The clothes had a cool laid back edge that I definitely love. The dresses were easy and paired with motorcycle boots and the Men's collection was just as effortless with interesting fabrics to add an interesting touch.

Mathieu Mirano was another great presentation, It carried that same few staples we've been seeing the last few seasons: Leather, Short Suits and lace. The white lace short suit was the one look that I was about to steal right of the models body. (It actually crossed my mind.) I'm excited to see a lot of the same trends from Fall to continue into the spring.
